We are still in Dana Point but are preparing to leave.

This morning we went to the beach - it was overcast, but how can we come to So Cal and NOT go to the beach! It was Logan's first time at the beach, he seemed to like it. He ate sand and didn't seem to mind having sand on his fingers when he put them back in.

Anyway, soon we will be back to our fresh air and uncrowded streets. We have really enjoyed our time, especially seeing family and friends, but we are anxious to get home.

Well, Disneyland was a blast, but we are TIRED!

While we were at Disneyland we saw a lot of people. Among them, Tim and Abigail came to spend the day with us the first day, and then I got to have dinner with a couple of former students Andrew (who reads this blog) and Bill (who might read it) that work at the resort. we also saw Joanna and her girls, had breakfast with at Story Teller's Cafe (that was fun) and went to the pool.

We are now recuperating in Dana Point and then we head back to Montana. I'm looking forward to going back home, but not going back to work. I haven't mentioned it much, but it really pains me to have to go back to work. I will let the reasons remain unspoken publicly as those of you that know me know the reasons why.

Today is the service for grandma. We look forward to seeing more family.

I seriously question the arabic lineage of Jasmine, but she and the other princesses made our girl's day at the Princess Lunch.

Here, I'm tired...

We couldn't help explore at least a little bit even though we got here after 9PM. Bella and I went to go get the car and we parked it up on top of the parking garage just as the fireworks started.

We then walked around Downtown Disney a bit and stopped by this old Autopia car to take a picture.

Well, we've been busy here in Fresno (yes, we made it) and now it's time to move on to the next phase of our vacation. We are heading to the Disneyland Hotel for the next 5 days and are really looking forward to being there. After that we are going to Dana Point.

One sad thing that has changed our plans a bit is that Judy's Grandma Thomas (The one who lived in Montana with us) passed away on Thursday Night. We were surprised, but not totally. The kids are handling it well. Anya said, "At least she's happy now". We will definitely miss her, she was a nice addition to our family in Montana. Her services will be here in CA (in Glendora) on Saturday afternoon. Good timing, I suppose. We are looking forward to seeing family that we weren't planning on being able to see. We will delay our trip home by a day. We are trying to enjoy our vacation despite the sad news.

We stopped in Spokane for the night. We got an all right start (despite taking Logan to the emergency room) but we were just too tired. The trip out of Montana was rainy so it was tough going at first and it wasted a lot of time having to drive at 50 MPH. Logan and Bella also coughed the entire time so that was rough too.

Logan just has hives, but we weren't quite sure, so we took him to the emergency room -- just in case.

Tomorrow morning we will head to Redding. Should be there by about 8PM.
